What the results mean
Parkclose combines source-attributed government parking facts, OpenStreetMap records and visitor reports for core Northern Virginia, Washington DC and Baltimore City. Coverage is incomplete. A missing result does not mean there is no accessible parking, and a listed result does not promise a vacant or currently usable space.
Northern Virginia coverage is Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William counties, plus Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas and Manassas Park cities. Baltimore County and other outlying jurisdictions are not included.
A sign, curb zone, meter, parking facility and individual bay are different things. A facility pin or address search can be approximate; a wheelchair-accessible facility tag alone does not establish an exact reserved-bay count. Source links identify the underlying information, not a government endorsement of Parkclose.
Before driving or parking
Choose parking while safely parked. This website is not a native CarPlay app; Google Maps or Apple Maps handles the navigation after handoff. A pin is not necessarily a verified vehicle entrance.
Distances are approximate straight-line measurements, not verified wheelchair-accessible walking routes. Check the signs, closures, placard eligibility, time limits, payment rules and disability-permit exemptions. Confirm vehicle/van clearance, access aisles and curb cuts yourself. No reservation, vacancy, legal-parking permission, safe walking route or independently ADA-certified condition is guaranteed.
Sources and licenses
Each option links to its source. Source retrieval dates are not the same as an in-person inspection. Government and community data may be old or incomplete, and different source terms apply; public availability does not by itself make every original GIS database public domain. Parkclose is not affiliated with Apple, Google or government parking agencies.
OpenStreetMap data is credited to OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database License. The separately published OSM-derived database is available for download. Read ODbL 1.0. This does not automatically apply the same license to every government source or a contributor's original wording.
Off-street source coverage
Garage and lot coverage is incomplete in every supported jurisdiction. The supplemental VDOT lookup reads an explicit 2020 ADA-space inventory; checking the source today does not make it a current survey. Park-and-ride restrictions apply. A provider-listed wheelchair-accessible facility, when available from a permitted source, does not imply a known bay count or government verification.
No commercial parking-provider feed is currently authorized. For example, SpotHero lists the garage at 2 E Wells Street as wheelchair accessible, but its publication terms require permission; that garage remains a known gap. It has not been inserted manually or as a user report.
Source facts refresh on demand with a shared cache, not a new scheduled crawl. Failures retain permitted last-good facts with warnings; offline copies may be older. Read the source audit and last check results. These are coverage assessments, not counts of every physical parking space.

Public reporting guidelines
Report marked accessible parking you observed, not ordinary unmarked parking, a resident-assigned bay or known private/staff-only parking. Be accurate to the best of your knowledge. Leave counts blank if you do not know them; do not invent precise bay positions, accessibility dimensions or vacancy.
By choosing Add parking, you permit Parkclose to store, publicly display and format your submitted report and directions to operate this service. You keep any rights in original wording; location facts and geocoded data may be reused under applicable source licenses. Do not submit copied material you lack permission to publish or anyone's personal information.
Reports appear immediately as User reported, without prior independent verification. The operator can remove them for inaccuracy, inappropriate content, privacy problems or misuse. Email prasidhapps@gmail.com for corrections or removal requests, with the parking name or report reference. Removed reports disappear from fresh online results, but offline and third-party copies may remain.
Email requests and future advertising
Feature suggestions and requests for coverage in another area belong in email to the operator, not the public parking-report form. A request does not automatically expand coverage or add a verified space.
No ads are currently installed. Any future advertising should be clearly identified and kept distinct from parking recommendations and navigation controls. Parking information and advertising must not be presented as interchangeable.
